About Marshline Logistics

Marshline Logistics Solutions is a veteran-owned freight brokerage based in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. We work with businesses locally, throughout the Southeast, and across the country to help keep their freight moving.

We coordinate everything from Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) shipments to expedited and time-sensitive freight, including sprinter vans, box trucks, dry vans, flatbeds, hotshots, and other equipment based on what each shipment requires.

What sets Marshline apart is pretty simple: we pick up the phone, we communicate, and we stay involved. We work with a network of reliable carriers and manage each shipment from the initial quote through delivery, so our customers always know who to call and who is handling their freight.

We also understand that not every shipment is planned weeks in advance. Sometimes you need a truck tomorrow, something falls through at the last minute, or you have more freight than your regular carriers can handle. That's where we can help.

Our goal is to build long-term relationships with customers who know they can call us when they need  something moved. We're not looking to be just another broker you call for a rate. We want to be the people you call when you need it handled.

Lowcountry roots. Nationwide reach. One team you can count on.

Meet Geoff

Hi, I'm Geoff Cunningham, founder of Marshline Logistics Solutions.

I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and today I call Beaufort, South Carolina, home, where I live with my wife, Kim.

My career started in the United States Air Force, where I worked as a weapons loader on F-16s. My time in the Air Force taught me a lot about teamwork, attention to detail, accountability, and most importantly, getting the job done. Those lessons have stayed with me throughout my career.

After leaving the Air Force, I began working in international airfreight and went on to work across different areas and modes of transportation. Over the years, I gained experience throughout the transportation industry and developed a strong understanding of what it takes to keep freight moving and, just as importantly, keep customers informed along the way. I also earned my Bachelor's degree in Communications from Cleveland State University.

Eventually, I realized the big corporate environment wasn't where I wanted to spend the rest of my career. I could build a relationship with a customer, make the sale, and then have to hand that customer off to someone in operations.

I wanted to build the kind of logistics company I would want to do business with. No passing you off after the sale. No wondering who to call. Just someone who knows your business and stays involved from the initial quote through pickup, delivery, and everything in between. That's the way I believe logistics should be done, and it's what Marshline Logistics was built around.

Kim and I fell in love with the Lowcountry about 15 years ago and always talked about eventually retiring here. Then we found our dream home and started asking ourselves, why wait? We decided to make the move and build the next chapter of our lives here.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me on the boat, fishing, playing golf, traveling, cooking, or spending time with family and friends. I especially enjoy smoking meat and BBQ, and I'm always willing to talk about food, boats, or freight.

At the end of the day, freight is about people. I believe in answering the phone, communicating, doing what I say I'm going to do, and building relationships that last.
